All ideas have to start somewhere. This is the first step in the process of turning your ideas into a tangible product. The process begins with a Design Consultation so that we can gather all of your ideas and make sure we have everything we need to move forward in designing your product. We provide you with an intake worksheet that will help us to gain a deep understanding of your design and manufacturing goals. Once the design meeting is held, we will determine what the product needs are in order to move into further development. If it is clear that the product concept needs additional research, we will recommend going through the process of R&D. This process varies depending on your product, but it typically includes additional Our research includes a competitive analysis, examples of product differentiators and a deep dive into design ideas that we feel will give clarity and context to your product’s unique design features and market proposition. Research is presented to the client with a document to track these ideas. Next, we create a set of Technical Drawings to present various ideas and approaches with detail in mind to your design concept. These drawings are then placed into our Design Boards to provide additional clarity and design callouts. This is your first check point with your designer. They will review this set of drawings and specifications with you before moving into the next steps of your Technical Design to be sure that we are accurately interpreting your vision. Once approved, or edited, our design team will take your Technical Drawings and utilize them in your Tech Packs.

Simultaneous to your product design work we now offer Identity Branding services. While your product is center stage we encourage our clients to start thinking about their brand’s marketing. Logo Identity is at the heart of the brand and will appear in many locations on and in your products. This process can be lengthy and should be considered at the onset of a project.

Textile Design is another concept that is crucial for our clients to start at the onset of a product design project. We often will have clients who are looking for a custom print to make their garments more unique. We have an extensive list of vendors and suppliers that specialize in fabrics prepared for print, as well as printing. We can design your prints, have them printed, and sent to us for sampling in no time.
